Maison

Large (2650 square feet), four-bedroom house on two-acres. The neighborhood, Cascade View Estates, is an affluent part of town overlooking Ellensburg and the Stuart Mountain Range. The house has hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, a three-car garage, two living areas, surround sound movie screen, large kitchen with great room, central heating/air conditioning, isolated master bedroom, two-person bathtub, wrap-around porch, hot tub, and internet. The three queen beds and one king bed are all pillow-top beds with 500-thread-count sheets.

The house is walking distance from the L.T. Murray Wildlife Preserve. Down the hill, the Yakima river carries fishermen and tourists. The sunrise from our entire house is spectacular (see picture).

Quartier

Located in the heart of the beautiful Kittitas Valley and in the center of Washington State, historic Ellensburg is home to year-round recreational activities, numerous events, excellent shopping and dining, and a variety of performing and visual arts. Ellensburg, which is approximately 110 east of Seattle and 170 west of Spokane, has become a popular hub for concerts at the nearby Gorge Amphitheatre, water skiing on the Columbia River, golf at the new Suncadia Prospector Course, fly fishing, river rafting, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing (2 hours, 20 minutes from some of the best downhill skiing in Washington). Ellensburg's historic district offers a wide variety of cultural activities, eclectic shops, pubs and restaurants. Nestled just east of the Cascade Mountain Range and north of the Stuart Mountains.

À propos de nous

We are teachers (college professor and and 5th grade teacher), who love to see new places. We have been married over 20 years, have one adult child and a conscientious 16 year-old girl. We are clean, relaxed, non-smokers or drinkers, who are very respectful of other people's things.

The car we have for exchange is a Saab Convertible.

Destination

We are flexible, in general, but we have jobs that could prevent short-notice travel. We're open to exploring the world. We love seeing new places, no matter how exotic or mundane.

The easiest time for us to travel is early June through the last week of August. We are also open to a week in Mid-March.
