Maison

A 1 bedroom,1 office, sleeps 3-4, 2 bath house on a lovely tropical street, 8 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. The house has terazzo floors. House is completely updated, with Lush tropical landscaping, and a large yard with coral rock patio and a garden with fruit trees.
Shops are walking distance, including great restaurants, and the Aventura mall, including movies, is a 10 minute drive.
Miami is full of cultural venues, and events, including the new performing arts center, opera house and the New World Symphony right on Lincoln Road on Miami Beach.

Quartier

Our neighborhood is the best of Miami Beach. It is the only beachside community in Miami Beach. The beach is gorgeous with a long walking trail. The neighborhood is beautiful, with many tropical trees and flowers. It is very quiet, and tranquil if you are looking for a peaceful place, this is it. There are lots of young families, and a few blocks away there is a community center with children's pool, and a lap pool for adults. There are countless community activites for young and old, and it is free for all living in our township of Surfside. There are also free music events on the beach. There is a large park with a summer camp for kids, too.
Surfside has a great little shopping district, with shops and restaurants. Public transportation is a 2 block walk from the house.
We love living here, and we know you will, too.

My husband,and I are participating in the exhange. My husband is a professor and writer, and I am a psychotherapist. We want to be able to exchange for at least a month, and up to four months, from May through August in Seattle, Washington, or surrounding areas.

Destination

This needs to be a simultaneous exchange. Our destination is Seattle, Washington, and surrounding areas. The dates are flexible. We could go for a month or two this summer, 2010, from July through August. Or we could exchange for 6 weeks, minimum 3 weeks.
