Maison

We are proud to own a lovely home on one of Cambridge's best streets. Our home and property overlooks the Waikato river and the local golf course, and is only a 5 minute walk to town. It is modern, clean and warm with off-street parking and has friendly and helpful neighbours.

Quartier

Cambridge is best known for breeding and training many of Australiasia's top race horses, for being a NZ antique mecca and for it's well known rowing events at Lake Karapiro (5 mins drive) including upcoming World Rowing Champs in 2010. Lake Karapiro is also a great place for boating - we may consider allowing use of our boat.

We've loved Cambridge since moving here 4 years ago. It is a very friendly, welcoming town, very safe for young families, and is only 15-20 minutes to the city of Hamilton. Located in the middle of the North Island, Cambridge is located so that day trips are easy. For example, Rotorua is one of New Zealand's largest tourist cities and this is only 1 hour away.

À propos de nous

We are a professional and house-proud couple in our late 30's/early 40's. Glenn is an Accountant, Yvonne is a Human Resources Consultant. Our 2 wonderful children are 5 years old and nearly 3. We have 2 cats and 1 friendly samoyed dog - if pets are a problem we are happy to board them elsewhere.

We have done a house swap before, and should be able to get a reference from them to verify the care we took with their home.

Destination

We are flexible on dates, but are hoping to exchange especially in September. Any house we go to must be in a safe area for young families. Preferably, but not necessarily, it will not be far from a beach.

Although Ireland is our preferred destination, we are very open to all possibilities.
