Maison

Two bedroom fully equipped apartment on Sanibel Island in South west Florida, connected to mainland by a causeway. A unique sub tropical island. Air conditioned, two baths, TV/DVD/VCR. Full kitchen and washer and dryer in the apartment. Microwave and oven. WIFI in apartment.
Fabulous beach with best shells in the USA, quiet and natural environment with a large swimming pool.. Palm trees in a tropical paradise. Restaurants, shops discreetly placed in garden settings. Wildlife refuge on half the island. Tennis, free canoes to use on our bayou. Can used as a base to visit the rest of Florida. Miami two hours, Tampa, two hours and Orlando 3 hours.

Quartier

Quiet natural island, no high rises. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation without the usual crowded beaches. A car is needed as the island is mainly natural with shopping and restaurants removed from the beach. See dolphins just offfshore, wander down a secluded beach enjoying nature or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Pool is great for children and the Gulf of Mexico is warm and gentle. The variety of shells is amazing with many souvenirs to be taken home.

We speak English and French and love Paris. I am retired dentist and my wife a teacher. We love walking around the city and seeing the hidden treasures of the city as well as the tourist areas. We have exchanged many times in France. We love the opportunity home exchange gives to "live" in the city rather than just acting the tourist. In July we are interested in most other areas of coastal France.

Destination

Looking for an exchange in our favorite city Paris. We love the city in August when it is peaceful and quiet. We prefer to be within the city itself as we love to walk. Sanibel is also truly quiet in August. Coastal France in July.
