Maison

Our 2000sq ft. home is beautifully decorated in European colour scheme. We boast four bedrooms plus an large kitchen/family room with HDTV. The kitchen is large and looks out onto our backyard with a trampoline and front yard with a soccer net and basketball hoop. Our living room has a gas fireplace and is bright and warm. Our formal dining room can host a dinner party for eight people. The family room has a gas fireplace and opens up to the patio with a Weber Bbque.

We are located 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver and a ten minute drive from the Vancouver International airport. In Richmond (Steveston) itself where our home is located is a West Coast fishing village where fresh seafood is available straight from the boats. With a 2 minute walk, you can join a spectacular dyke that stretches around our city which ensures that you will see bald-headed eagles, seals, and other wildlife' Waterside restaurants ,butchers, coffee shops, bakeries and organic produce is available. There are plenty of outdoor activities available: local tennis courts, swimming in the ocean, indoor and outdoor pools and a brand new water park all within a 5 minute walk from our house. Additionally local artisans often sell their varied artworks and 2 National Historical sights are in short walking distance. A large shopping centre is located ten minutes drive from our home which will quench the thirst of any shopaholic. There are nearby ferries which will take you to the local Gulf Islands: Salt spring, Bowen, Pender (www.gulfislandsguide.com). All the local ski hills -- Cypress, Seymour -- are 40 minutes away, incredible hiking trails and famous scuba diving locations: beautiful views in summer or winter. We are a family of 4. Vern and Donna are both professional working for the City Of Richmond in the Recreation Department. Donna is also a photographer and has sells her products in local stores. We have 2 children , Evan -15yrs old who is an avid golfer, snowboarder and plays competitive soccer and basketball. Colin is 13 and also plays competitive soccer and basketball and enjoys biking, roller hockey and snowboarding. We lived in South of France for a year for the children to improve thier french. They are fluent in French. We enjoy meeting new people from around the world and travelling.
