Maison

Situated in a quaint and quiet lane, the beach is only 3 minutes walking distance and the heart of Byron Bay, 5 minutes walk.

Downstairs, there are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with ensuite. Upstairs is the 3rd, unusually large bedroom with ensuite.

All rooms are equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with European appliances.

The house is furnished with antiques and quality furnishings.

The upstairs kitchen, dining, and sitting area, are open plan and overlook the verandah and rear garden. Small well behaved pets are welcome, on request.

Quartier

Byron Bay is a well known seaside village in northern New South Wales. Famous for its lighthouse, beaches, surfing, national parks and reserves, hinterland, markets, museums, Blues Festival and alternative culture.

Cape Byron is Australia's most easterly point, 153° 39´ east, located on the north coast of New South Wales (see map of Australia below). With its numerous beaches, unspoilt hinterland, and relaxed lifestyle, Byron Bay is a popular tourist destination.

With average summer temperatures of 21C - 28C, and average winter temperatures of 15C - 21C, both locals and visitors are able to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities including the many festivals throughout the year.

Byron Shire has a population of close to 30,000, while the town of Byron Bay has a population of about 9,000.

We are a retired couple who enjoy life in Byron Bay but also love to travel. Henri is French and has lived in Byron Bay for 15 years. Our interests are maintaining our garden, cooking, reading and travel.

Our house reflects our interest in travel and culture.

Destination

We are interested in staying in Bali for 2-4 weeks in February - March, 2011.
