Maison

We have a small and cozy home in Asheboro, NC. We are centrally located; about 3-4 hours from the beach and a couple of hours from the mountains. We are within 30 minutes of Badin Lake, High Rock Lake and Lake Tillery. We have a fenced in back yard with numerous toys for children; including a nice wooden swingset. It is close to shopping-within an hour of outlet malls. We are also within an hour Carowinds. The NC Zoo is only 10 minutes from our house. If you are interested in the nightlife Greensboro/Winstom Salem are about 45 minutes away and Charlotte and Raleigh only an hour. There are many things to do only a short drive away. If you prefer the peace and quiet then you can relax at home and enjoy the sunshine.

We have a queen size bed and private bath in the master suite. Our kids' room are accented with murals (noah's ark and veggie tales) We have two twin beds in the veggie tales and one twin bed in the noah's ark. We also have a playpen in the master that can be left in desired/needed.

Quartier

We have a nice and quiet neighborhood. We're surrounded by hay fields and nice neighbors. Ten minutes from NC Zoo and several local parks for children. Wal-Mart and local mall only 15 minutes from our home. Centrally located from most large cities.

À propos de nous

We are loving family of 5. My husband works for Thomas Built Buses and I stay at home with our children. We have three small children; a 6 year old daughter and two boys who are 4 and 2.

We are building a house about 6 miles down the road in an upscale rural/country subdivision. We will be in it by Christmas. But in the meantime our current house will have to suffice.

Destination

The 2nd week of August is our primary vacation week each year. Other times/dates could be arranged with sufficient notice. We would like to "get to Know" our exchange family before we leave for vacation.

On another note, we are a YFU host family. We have hosted a girl from Finland and are going to host a boy from the Netherlands this coming year.
