Attractive, very spacious, self contained aparment. The apartment has lots of space equivalent to a house. Our home is three storeys, we live on top floor, middle floor is the spacious apartment & bottom floor is pool, deck, bathroom, dinning deck & pool lounge.

The house is located in a quiet residential road in the prestigious area of Westerhall on the south east coast of Grenada. It has a lovely swimming pool and deck, perfect for dining. It is very spacious fully equipped light clean decor. All amenities you can expect to find in a home towells iron tv all kitchen equiptment. It has a wrap around verandah with beautiful sea views & cooling breezes it is located with in the parish of St. David''''s just a 20 minute drive from Point Salines International Airport. 10 to 20 minues from about 5 beautiful beaches. Close enough to explore the rain forest, waterfalls, spice plantations, accessible to visit some delightful beach front restaurants. local supermarket & bakery less than 5 minutes drive. Our Caribbean holiday home perfect for one couple, two couples or a family.

The Bedrooms are large & brightfurnished with a queen beds, bedside tables and lamp. Boasts a oversize sofa, a chair, a ceiling fan. It has an en-suite shower room & a large mirrored dressing room with an open air walk in closet & plenty of drawers. A small safe is provided for valuables.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a ceiling fan, a gas cooker with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, radio, toaster, all cooking utensils, dining crockery and glassware. Book swop shelf. Part of the kitchen is an adjoining dining room, with a dining table and 6 chairs.

Quartier

Neigbourhood is quiet. Small neighbourhood with about 12 houses on hills. All professional families. Views of the ocean and surrounding mountains and Bays. We are open to exchanging a car also. In the neighbourhood you can take a nice morning power walk down hill to the end of the road, and feel a sense of satisfaction coming back up!
A car is essential to discover what Grenada "Isle of Spice" has to offer, and gives you freedom and flexibility to explore the island at your own pace day and evening.
Driving to our house is 20 minutes from the airport. Our neighbourhood is off the main road, and you have to climb uphill, where there are great views and refreshing breeze.
3 minutes to local well stocked supermarket and delicious bakery
5 minutes to about 3 different lunch time spots, to grab in inexpensive bite to eat
10 minutes to public marina and resort - open for breakfast lunch dinner pool & beach
10 minutes from main unspoilt LaSagesse Beach
15 minutes from spectacular Grand Anse beach, 2 miles long voted best in Caribbean
15-20 minutes from Magazine beach, Dr grooms beach, pink gin beach, Morne rouge beach
10 minutes from Capital of St. Georges open air fresh Caribbean market, historial fort, shopping, restaurants pretty cafes for people watching and taking in the ambience
In general our property is acessible to visit all the island has to offer, including fabulous beaches, our intriguing waterfalls, Spice Plantations, Hiking trails, rainforest, nature reserve with chance to feed the monkeys. Always only a few minutes away from an amazing view, a friendly local smile and chance to stop for a refreshing drink.
If you want to go further a field, you can catch a ferry from St. Georges to our neighbouring sister island called Carriacou, and enjoyable 90 min ferry ride - enjoy a day walking around visit the museum, the town, have lunch on paradise beach. Its also easy to arrange day sailing tours, snorkelling or diving tours in Grenada.

We are a family of 4. We are business professionals ( wedding planner & builder) that also own some tourism businesses including a car rental company. We are very much immersed into tourism here. I was born in the UK and my husband was born in Genada. We have 2 children 7 and 11 years. We love the outdoors, exploring, travelling. Our children were born in the UK, & although we live permantely in Grenada, we visit England every year also.

We like to house swop, sometimes on our own for a week, and sometimes with our children, during the school holidays. We have compiled an extensive list for our home swoppers to get the best out of the island, all of the off the beaten track places, that you may not find out about, we have them written down for you. The best beaches, the best food, places to go and people to see. Its a small island, so if you say you are staying at our house, the likely hood is the restauranteer or shop owner will know us. We want you to enjoy and love the island as much as we do! so we will provide lots of info before the swop. We have a housekeeper, called Christine that will come by a few mornings to give a general clean, so you can concentrate on relaxing, and having fun. She will even take you shopping.

July 2012 We woudl love a swop for 2 adults 2 children ( Maybe, Canada, Florida, Europe)

July 2012 We are thinking about going to the UK Olympics ( home swop for 4)

We are Open to short breaks away year round, i.e. caribbean islands, Miami or Puerto Rico, New York, Florida, Canada, other tropical islands.
