Maison

Our appartment is quite large (89 sqm) and comfortable. It is very well located as you can walk to the center (about 15 minutes) or take the tube (5mn) or rent a bike to cycle around as there is a city bike station in our street. Our neighbourhood is very quiet for being urban and we have a large terrace ( 45 sq m). There are neighbours all around us but we hardly see or hear them. They are all very nice people, though very different from one another. We are on the first floor, our block of flats has three floors.There is a lift.
There are 3 bedrooms and a small practical bathroom. So although there can be 5 or 6 people sleeping, the bathroom is convenient for 2 to 4, I think.
We find this place very pleasant to live in, even when the weather is not so fine as there are large windows and the flat remains very bright. We have plants and there are trees in the street, so we have the impression to be in a house, although it's a flat and we are in a very urban situation. (there are other appartments above and on each sides of the terrace: refer to the photos to make sure you understand the neighbourhood). We don't have animals but our neighbour has two very tidy cats that enjoy coming over for a rest. We don't look after them but enjoy their soft presence. Hope you don't care about their presence on the terrace!

Quartier

The neighbourhood is great! It's an old part of Toulouse with rich history. Close to the river Garonne along which you can walk/run/cycle to the center of the city. Not far from the Canal du Midi which is great for cycling or running too and can lead you all the way to the mediterranean coast! There is a park and the museum of modern art (Les Abattoirs) and a contemporary Theater (Le Théatre Garonne) and a very nice typical outdoor market just around the corner! Some convenient shops for food and bread open 7/7 in the street.
The tube is only 5 minutes away from the flat.
Once in the center of Toulouse, the architecture, the shops and cinemas will satisfy your desire for urban activities while the flat will let you relax for your holidays.
So, to sum what we think of our flat: It's a nice compromise between a country house and an urban flat: well located and quiet.Relaxing and passionating hols! Enjoy! ;)

À propos de nous

We are a family of 3 and Yann joins us as much as his activity enables him. Our family is composed of 2 well-behaved children: Lou is my daughter, she is 13 and Colas, my son, is 10. Yann, my love, is an artist, and me, Fanny, an English and Art teacher.
We usually travel during the small holidays, when my children are with their dad. Then we take a few days and go somewhere. We like travelling with the children during the summer holidays, and then we take 2,3 or 4 weeks of vacation.
So we're looking for exchanges quite regularly and you can offer, we'll think about it. We like change and will certainly enjoy discovering what you have to offer...
We love art, music, restaurants, cinema, theater, sports...
We'll leave some information here about our favourite spots in Toulouse. There are loads! We really love living here as there is as much culture as we need and we find living here very soft and relaxing.

Destination

We are planning to spend 4 days in Lisbon, Protugal, in october. We are looking for a place to stay that would be most convenient to enjoy the city ( and not too noisy).
We are two adults. We're used to travelling.
