Maison

Comfortable, spacious and modern family home. On ground floor there's a big kitchen cum dining and sun room area, a cosy tv room and playroom. Upstairs are three bedrooms (two with double bed and one king size). There are two bathrooms (one ensuite). There's an open attic-space, very bright and views to Howth head, with ensuite and pull-out sofa-bed.
There is a rear enclosed garden suitable for children to play.

Quartier

A quiet relaxed neighbourhood in scenic natural environment. The clontarf village shops and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. Also a few minutes walk, is the seafront promenade for walking, cyclying etc. It is a fifthy minute walk to and from the front door to the statue at end of the Bull Wall (sea wall engineered by Captain Bligh of mutiney on the Bounty fame!). In the vicinity of the Bull Wall & Dollymount Strand (UNESCO), is kite-surfing, bird-watching, golfing. Also, nearby is St. Anne's Park, an old Guinness family estate, with play ground, cafe, duck pond and rose garden.
There's a regular bus into Dublin city centre, 4 miles away/ 20 minutes bus ride. The DART (train), the Dublin port (ferry) and Dublin Airport (8 miles) are closeby. It's a 20-30 minute drive to Howth and Malahide villages.

We're a family who enjoy the comfort of home and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle (rain or shine)! We speak english.

Destination


Open re exchange destinations & flexible on holiday periods/duration, however schedule for holidays must coincide with school-holidays in ireland (listed on Dept. of Education website).
Obiviously, perfer to exchange with family or mature couples/people who we'd expect to value, respect and take good care of our home.
Hope to visit Croatia in 2010. Open to other and all destinations.
