Maison

Our studio (28m2 with two balconies) is situated in the charming old-fashion hotel transformed in privat appartments. It was completely renovated last summer. There is a new fitted kitchen, big dinner table, a lot of storage spaces. The studio has two balconies and very nice view on the mountains. You can use two privat showers in the corridor and two separated toilets.

Quartier

Gryon is the authentic peaceful swiss village with very beautiful old chalets. The building Le Belvédère where is situated our studio is closed to the small rail-way station. From here you can reach Villars-sur-Ollon in 10 minutes by car or with the small train (www.villars.ch). It's a very dynamic ski station having more than 120 km of trails with cafés, bars and discos. There is a lot of possibilities of hiking, mountain biking here. You can also easely reach the famous Glacier 3000 Diablerets. shttp://www.glacier3000.ch/en/Summer/ The region is very rich in the cultural, gastronomical and natural sightseengs. You can also visit the termal Spa of Lavey-les-Bains (www.lavey-les-bains.ch, 20 min by car), Montreux city (40 min by car), the Foundation Giannada (http://www.gianadda.ch/). All these places are also availables from Gryon by train.

À propos de nous

I'm originally from Saint-Petersburg (Russia) and live in Switzerland since 2001. I work as an art teacher in the international school of Villars and sometimes like a touristic guide. My husband is a writer and journalist. He published some romans and books for children in french. We wrote together a book about Saint-Petersburg in 2003. We speak fluently French, Russian, currently English and German and a little bit Italian.

Destination

We would like to stay on the sea-side and to visit some interesting places around. The ideal destination would be in France, Spain, USA, Croatia, Greece, Turkey. But we are open as well for any other destinations...:) The exchange doesn't have to be simultaneous.
