Maison

Meadowcroft is an attractive period (1908) gentlman's residence, with a lake view, set in extensive mature gardens and grounds which includes an all weather tennis court for use by Meadowcroft residents. Set in highly regarded 'Storrs Park', Meadowcroft was developed as several self contained Flats/Apartments. Flat #12 offers an enviable position on the first floor looking out over the main lawns through to a section of Lake Windermere.
Our Flat in the 'Lake District' is within walking distance of the Beatrix Potter Museum in Bowness and her 'Hilltop Farm" home. Close by is William Wordsworth's home and museum.
Lastly and mostly, to be enjoyed, is the wonderful English countryside featuring local pubs, eateries and the natural beauty of the Lake District's extensive walking trails.

Quartier

A secure enviroment in a delightful position just a mile to the south of Bowness-on-Windermere. Seasonal bus service is available as well as yearly local car rentals. NO car is offered on exchange, though two designated parking spaces are offered on the property for your personal use.

We are two, non-smoking, well travelled aviation industry people that have no children and enjoy travel to most parts of the world. This property is NOT our primary residence and is offered as a 'Holiday Let' throughout the year, when not in our use. As a 'property trade' we can accomodate almost any timing, as long as our property has not been pre booked. We can therefore be at your trade property at a time of convenient vacancy, not necessarily the same time you are at ours. Exchanges are most welcome.
