Maison

Newly refurbished 100 sqm apartment with two bedrooms, an open kitchen and a big living space overlooking a garden in the best positioned area of Cairo, i.e. Zamalek Island. It sleeps 2 adults and one infant (say up to 14 y.o.). The apartment is very bright and is decorated based on a mix of modern/ethnic. On the first floor, it has no vis-a-vis and is therefore very quite - a luxury in Cairo.

Quartier

Zamalek is the preferred district both of upper class Egyptian and foreigners. It is actualy an island right in the heart of the bustling Cairo, where the palace of Napoleon III was built for his wife, where you will find the only opera house in the middle east and the best outings. Everything is walking distance within Zamalek (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars). Access is direct to the Cairo museum, Giza, old cairo, Khan El Khalili, without having the impression to be surrounded by tourists. This is THE spot to be....

Dahlia my wife is Egyptian. Our daughter, Isis, is 2 years old. I work in the field of eceonomic development for international agencies, while my wife is more into the development of cultural projects based on Egyptian communities. We have also another house in Amman (3 bedrooms, 7 people) that is presented on this site.

Destination

Actually, we are in general looking for an exchange in the center of Paris in summer and for Christmas and any other destination in summer and thourghout the year since we are rather flexible.
