Maison

Old stone cottage, sympathetically renovated, with open-plan living upstairs and cool bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, with a choice of outdoor eating/relaxing areas on different levels.

Quartier

The island of Lefkada is unique in that it is linked to the mainland by a floating bridge. Katouna is a quiet mountain village but only 3 km from the sea. We have a village taverna but no other facilities, just friendly neighbours and beautiful views of the sea and the mainland. The main town, just 5 km away, supplies every need and there is a wealth of places to explore on the island.

À propos de nous

My wife and I are retired teachers and have lived on Lefkada for nearly 10 years. We love sailing, walking and travelling. We have not tried home-swapping before but have friends who are keen swappers.

Destination

We would like a non-simultaneous exchange with somewhere hot in January/February, 2011, offering our house during the summer of 2011. Other than that we have no real preferences.
