Maison

Our (holiday) home is a three bedroom villa close to one of Phuket's most famous beaches. The house has three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), its own private pool, plenty of shade (when the sun gets too hot) and satellite TV. The house is managed for us by Outrigger Hotels (see link below) and you can use their facilities as much or as little as you like. The house was built in 2007 and the hotel team keep it in great condition (and will clean it for you while you are staying).

If you want to cook for yourselves rather than dining out there is a fully equipped kitchen, Phuket has a large number of markets and a couple of international supermarkets (Tesco)

Phuket is famous as the top family holiday destination in Asia, its a short flight from Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, where you will probably need to transit if coming from Europe. The island is famous for, in no particular order, beaches, diving and snorkelling, boat trips, golf, great food and nightlife, very friendly people, elephants, temples etc.

Note: please dont be put off by anything you may have seen about political unrest in Bangkok. Its fairly common for there to be protests in the capital but they are unheard of in Phuket. We were last there in April 2010 and there were no problems at all. If you have any worries you can easily avoid Bangkok by flying to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur and connecting through there.

À propos de nous

We are Rob and Grace. We have two children, Jasmine (5) and Tom (2) and we live in Shanghai As noted elsewhere, this is our holiday house so we can give lots of recommendations on what to do while you are there. We are also able to arrange a non simultaneous swap if that suits you.

Destination

we would need to borrow your house during school holidays - ours is a holiday house so can be flexible on when you want to go (although not during christmas period please).
