Stylish, quiet artisan cottage in central Dublin, 15 minutes walk to absolute centre.
I completely renovated about 3 years ago to the highest standard, so the house has wooden floors and windows and is really airy and light.

Very comfortable mix of modern and antique furniture.

My house has one main bedroom so this place is ideal for 2, but you can have guests if you wish! There is a fold out sofa in another room (not the main living area). Otherwise I use this as a dressing/reading room.

There is a pretty green with trees in front of the house, and as it is a cul de sac so is quiet.

It's 4 rooms altogether: master bedroom, large living/kitchen area, dressing/reading/guest room, bathroom with corner bath and excellent shower.

On demand hot water, central heating, all cooking needs, washing machine, wifi, piano.

I will have more photos up as soon as I get my camera back on track!

Quartier

Old area of Dublin, with mixture of red brick brownstone type buildings and cottages. Very low rise in general with newer apartments further away.

Tram stop 2 minutes away that brings you to the city centre and suburbs.

Guinness Brewery around the corner - my house was built 100 years ago for the workers there!

One of Dublin's best food shops nearby.

IMMA (modern art museum) and main train station 10 mins walk.

Phoenix park 15 minutes.

The seaside is 30 minutes also.

I am a creative media lecturer in my 30s. I have a passion for design, hence the work undertaken on my home.

I have successfully had one house swap previously.

Speak English, Spanish, French and Irish on occasion also!

Destination

New York City, ideally Brooklyn/Williamsburg areas but anywhere there is a great start!

Dates and durations are flexible and I will be available to go from 19 June.
