Maison

Contemporary art-filled townhome on beautiful tree lined street in historic downtown Campbell. It's more like a detached home as we share only a garage wall with our friendly neighbor; there are only 4 units. The location is ideal as you can walk to everything or be within an hour's drive of amazing Bay Area attractions.

The house is light-filled (sky-lights and high ceilings). We have a full office with wi-fi, fax machine and printers. The master bedroom has an en-suite bath and a fireplace. Fireplace in the living room/kitchen area, as well. Large front porch and small but pretty private courtyard. Brand new tempurpedic mattress in master bedroom. Built in Murphy bed in office/2nd bedroom and 3rd bedroom is a TV room with a huge sofa and built-in desk/entertainment unit. Cook's kitchen.

We have a 2 for 1; you can use this home and our award-winning lakefront vacation home in CA Gold Country (Grass Valley)- featured in Sunset Mag on 8 secluded acres of forest in the Sierras. 45 min to Lake Tahoe area ski resorts.

Quartier

Urban convenience yet on a quiet tree lined street. Campbell is a hip yet historic town south of San Francisco (our weather is a lot better!). Walk to shops, restaurants, theatre, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Farmer's Market, the train, public transportation, bike rental shop and 26 mile hiking trail. 45 min to San Francisco, under 30 minutes to the beach, wineries, great hiking, Palo Alto; 1 hour to Monterey/Carmel.

À propos de nous

Tod and Barrie are refugees from the high tech world. Tod was a project manager and Barrie was an HR/OD executive. We decided to retire early and enjoy life! Tod does public service in the area of community revitalization and Barrie does child advocacy work. We're well traveled and enjoy meeting people from around the world. Tod has lived abroad twice. We don't have kids but our dog Abbie is like our kid. We recently finished building our little carbon footprint "green" vacation home in the beautiful Sierras.

Destination

We're actively seeking an exchange over Xmas break, 2011 to Hawaii, Mexico or the Caribbean.

We are also looking for an exchange in the NYC/the NE corridor Spring, 2012.

We can do a non-simultaneous.
