Small cosy 3 Bedroom TownHouse in the heart of the beautiful village of Kinvara, Co. Galway, West of Ireland. Kinvara is a pretty fishing village nestled on the edge of Galway Bay and is also home to many of Ireland's famous Traditional Musicians.

3 Bedroom House (1 Double, 2 Single) sleeps 4.
Open-plan Living room/Kitchen/Dining. Wood-burning Stove, Central Heating, Internet WiFi, Stereo, TV/DVD (but not connected to the outside world!)
Dishwasher, Fridge/freezer, Washing Machine, Electric Hob and Oven.
1 Bathroom/Electric Shower

Small garden and beautiful old trees to the front of the property.
Small enclosed yard to the rear.

House is in the heart of the village (1min walk to the Quay and the sea). Kinvara is a very pretty fishing village on the coast of Galway Bay and is also an excellant location for exploring the stunning Burren National Park, Co. Clare and also South Co. Galway.
The Burren National Park - an area of outstanding beauty in the West of Ireland and internationally famous for it's unique limestone rock landscape and unique flora and fauna.
Should your city-fix arise - Galway 30mins drive.

LOCATION:
Nearest Airport - Shannon (45mins), Knock (1hr 15mins) or Dublin (2hrs 30mins). Buses available form Galway City.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES:

Pier/Harbour (1min walk), Sandy Beach (10mins drive), Woodland walks (10 mins), Lots of Traditional Music pubs and Irish Dancing, Farmer's Markets, Caves, Biking, Bowling, Theatre, Cinemas, Galleries/Museums, Golf, Hiking, Ho

À propos de nous

I'm a Lens-based Artist (Photography & Film) teaching part-time at the Art College in Galway. I have travelled extensively and have previously done house/pet sitting in Brooklyn, London, Brittany, Jerusalem, Perth and Sydney, the Aran Islands and Portstewart, Co. Antrim. I am relaxed, practical and flexible and more than happy to share my home with interested parties.

I'm also a keen dog/cat lover and happy to pet-sit and would prefer to bring my lovable, well-trained dog with me if possible.

Destination

1 - France - all areas particularly Brittany, Ile-de-France, Champagne-Ardenne, Provence, Rhone-Alps, Cote d'Azur, Normandy, Pyrénées and of course Paris.
2 - Scandanavia, Holland, Faro Islands, Iceland, Greek Islands.
3 - Berlin, St. Petersburg, London, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Prague, Budapest, Seville, Venice, New York, Buneo Aries, Cornwall/Isles of Scilly, Scotland & Islands, Wales, China, Mexico, Cuba, South America, Africa, Eastern Europe.
4 - Anywhere considered including Ireland.
5 - ALSO WOULD CONSIDER A CAMPERVAN/MOTORHOME.
Would prefer longer swaps in the summer 3-7wks if possible.
