Clare, West of Ireland. 100 yr old farm labourer's cottage recently renovated - Cottage (sleeps 8): Basic, rustic charm 2 Double bedrooms - (bedroom upstairs en suite) plus 2 sofa-beds 2 Living rooms 1 small kitchen/dining - Fridge/freezer, Washing Machine, Electric Hob and Oven 1 Bathroom/Electric Shower Huge Open fire Central Heating Internet WiFi Connection Small enclosed garden and swing to the front. Large enclosed garden to the rear - vegetable beds (weeding hands always appreciated), pear/apple trees, glasshouse and shed.

Also included in exchange:
Cat sitting duties - feeding once a day 2 (mainly outside) cats who in return for feeding provide cuddles and purring sounds.
Car (Petrol, 5 door/seats - no child-seat).
Old but reliable bicycle.

NB:
Strictly non-smoking
No TV Channel connection but TV available for DVD viewing.
No dishwasher.
Cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or small children because of the precarrious spiral staircase!

Located on a small quiet road near Lough Bunny at the edge of The Burren National Park - an area of outstanding beauty in the West of Ireland and internationally famous for its limestone rock landscape and flora and fauna.

I'm a Lens-based Artist (Photography & Film) teaching part-time at the Art College in Galway. I have travelled extensively and have previously done house/pet sitting in Jerusalem, Perth and Sydney, the Aran Islands and Portstewart, Co. Antrim. I am relaxed, practical and flexible and more than happy to share my home with interested parties.
