Maison

The condo is situated in New Zealand approximately 25 minutes north of Auckland city. It is a perfect destination for those wanting a peaceful and relaxing vacation or a base to begin an unforgettable New Zealand adventure. The condo was built in 2008 and is situated in Kensington Park on the edge of Orewa township. The condo is a second home for me so it is available at all times of the year and it would be no problem if you would like to stay for a few nights and then travel around the country and return for a second stay on your way back to Auckland. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms - the master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a Queen size bed and the other room has a double bed. It is tastefully furnished with a fully equipped modern kitchen, washer dryer and flat screen TV. An on site indoor swimming pool and gym are also available.

Quartier

This property is just around the corner from my parents place - they are most likely to travel with me on an exchange and also my boyfriend would come along too. The setting is very quiet and it's just a couple of blocks from the beach, ten minutes walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. Also just ten minutes drive from the world renowned Waiwera Thermal Resort and Spa, and also nearby wine trail. My parents have a car available if needed, also there is a shuttle service from the airport that can be prearranged upon request.

I am originally from New Zealand and currently live in San Francisco where I own a studio apartment in the Marina district. I work at the Kaiser Hospital in the city as a Director of Peri-Operative Services - so I am an RN and have used my job to basically travel the world, a passion I still enjoy although on a much smaller scale these days. I would be exchanging with my parents and boyfriend (works for the FBI). We are all very well traveled and find these days that we like to return to places we've enjoyed on previous trips. My parents are in their mid 70's and still very active - there maybe an occasion where they complete the exchange without me - it just depends (I still have a full time job!).
I compete in triathlons and I'm currently training for the Ironman in Lake Placid this year - this is a sport I enjoy with my boyfriend. I also enjoy low key activities such as sitting in a cafe drinking an espresso.
Also my boyfriend is fluent in Italian.
Finally as I mentioned I live in San Francisco where I have a modern studio, I would be willing to exchange this residence however I do have two cats.

Destination

My parents and I are particularly looking for a property in Hawaii in Waikiki or nearby for September 2010. After this trip I will update my profile for further destinations and dates
