Luxury duplex apartment (garden level and first floor) in classic brownstone building on Manhattan's Upper West Side located on 71st Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. Totally renovated by Italian architect and featured in Architectural Digest. All modern amenities, incl. wireless high-speed Internet, four TVs, and three DVD players. Large sauna. Well-behaved dogs welcome, but not cats and indoor smokers. One block from The Dakota and Central Park Entrance, and close to Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle and Museum Mile.

Quartier

Typical Upper West Side: quiet streets and busy avenues, lots of small restaurants and shops, family-friendly, not so snobbish as Upper East Side. And with Central Park as your giant garden and playground.

À propos de nous

We are a financially independent couple in our low 60s, born and raised and educated in Sweden and living in the United States since 1982. Actually, we share our lives between one home in Sweden and two in the United States because of family on both sides of the Atlantic. Husband has had a successful career in international advertising and marketing and is now active as a director on several company and organization boards. Wife a home maker who devotes time to charity work. Interests include good food and wine, travel, literature, golf, and hunting. We have a small dog (Australian terrier, 16 lbs.), totally house-broken, non-barking, well-behaved, that will travel with us if permitted by you; if not, we know of several excellent pet resorts.

Destination

Dates are very flexible.
Exchange does not have to be simultaneous.
First option is a beach-front property in the Sarasota, FL, area for the week of 03/27-04/03 this year. After that, anything and everything is of interest.
