Maison

We live in a nice house with a beautiful view on the st-lawrence river. Very relaxing environment with plenty of space. We have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It's a lot of light entering the house. There's a regional park that runs at the back of our house.

Quartier

Our house is located at 15 minutes from downtown québec city. We are open to lend our car but there's also the bus that passes by. In Quebec city, there's the historic town (founded in 1608, first town in north america) that has the charm of old europe. There's also a lot of cultural events, museums, and various activities you can do in quebec city. You always have good access to the river that is in the heart of the city. Near our house, you can do a lot of outdoor sports and activities. Next to our house is the provincial cycling road, and there's a lot of regional or provincial parks where you can walk in the woods, do cycling, play golf, swim, etc. In the winter, you can ski, skate or do "raquette".

We are a family of four. I'm a college professor and my husband is a chef. We have two beautiful daugters ages 2 and 4. Sometimes we travel with them, sometimes not. Our first langage is frenc but we also speak english and spanish. We love outdoors activities as well as the energy of the city. We travel a lot before having our kids as my husband lived 10 years abroad (new-york, london, africa, etc.). We traveled in asia, and we lived in mexico city. I lived in south america for a couple of months as well. We love to explore new places and to meet passionate people!

Destination

The exchange can be non-simultaneous. We are flexible on the dates. In 2010, we would like to go for a long week-end in new-york city in april or may.
