Maison

Our home is a recently built detached house in the country with a large decking area and garden at the rear. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with wooden floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area opens out onto the decking area. Two bedrooms are downstairs and the third is upstairs. Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Also upstairs is a large games room and kids play area. The garden outside is landscaped on three levels, it has a gazebo, bar-b-q, play area and a homemade treehouse. The garden is surrounded by mature trees and hedges so it's safe and secluded for children to play in.

Quartier

We live in the countryside about 3km from New Ross. We are close (45mins) to many blue flag beaches along the coast as well as other tourist attractions such as the Dunbroady Ship, Hook Lighthouse and John F Kennedy Park. There are also a number of excellent golf courses in the area. As we are near beaches and rivers, surfing, kayaking and fishing are also available.There are indoor attractions such as cinemas, bowling alley and childrens softplay centres all within 20-30 minutes away. Inistioge is 15 minutes away, its a lovely village for walks, sightseeing and lovely pubs. Waterford and kilkenny are within half an hour drive and are major cities with lots of choice for restaurants and shopping. Kilkenny Castle is also worth a visit. Further away, Cork is a one and a half hour drive which is the 2nd city in Ireland with Fota Island wildlife Park. Of course we are also within driving distance to Dublin (2 hours) which makes day trips feasible. Monart destination spa which has been voted one of the best spa in the world is 30 minute away in Enniscorthy.

À propos de nous

We are a family of four. We are aged 46 and 44 and our two boys are aged 11 and 14 and are well mannered and behaved. We enjoy sightseeing, swimming, good local food and like to relax in the evenings.

Destination

We are open to exchange during Easter break or any long weekends for a short break, ideally in the West of Ireland or UK. We are open to ideas about summer holidays and love to see other part of the world.

We would prefer a simultaneous exchange if possible as this is our main home.
