Maison

A big two story house in the village of Santa Ana la Real, within the Natural Park of "Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche". It has two big bedrooms one with a double bed, another with a double bed and a single bed, and a smaller one with twin beds, one bathroom, kitchen, living room with fireplace and an arched court, all in the first floor. The second floor is a sunny loft with windows to both sides and wonderful views of the mountains. There is a terrace with mountain views and a back garden. It accommodates 7 people.

Quartier

The Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche natural park encompasses 184,000 hectares covered by woodland of mainly Evergreen and Cork oaks. The landscape is full of contrasts, with gently rolling hills and cork oaks and chestnut trees wooded valleys. The house is in the border of the village. The area is wonderful for hikers , bikers, and people interested in wildlife. There is a black vulture colony within the nature park. The beaches of “Costa de la Luz”, the wetlands of Doñana National Park and Seville are all in less than 2 hr drive.

À propos de nous

We are a couple in our mid-forties with two children, a girl (13), and a boy (11). I am a biologist working on wildlife research, my wife is also a biologist working for a private company. We like traveling abroad, nature and wildlife, and prefer places in the countryside more than inside a town. We are traveling to Australia from the June 1st to August 31st, we are looking hor a house exchange in Sydney and Canberra. We speak Spanish and English and can understand a little German and French.

Destination

This a second home so it can be a non-simultaneous exchange. If simultaneous we can exchange cars and bicycles (4). I will be in a sabbatical leave in Australia in June, July and August. We are looking form exchange in Canberra (June) and Sydney (July and August)
