Wireless internet access. Street and driveway parking. Great location to explore Bay Area (including SF, Berkeley, Marin County (Point Reyes National Seashore & Muir Woods), Sonoma and Napa wine country, Silicon Valley (San Jose +), Peninsula (Stanford U), and take excursions to Yosemite, Gold Country, Central Coast (Monterey, Santa Cruz, Big Sur). Warmer and sunnier than SF.

Quartier

Wooded residential street in Montclair area of Oakland. Take a walk in the neighborhood and enjoy panoramic bay views, or walk to Montclair village for Sunday farmer's market or cafes, local restaurants. Very quick access to Highway 13 (Moraga Exit) that takes you to downtown Berkeley in less than 10 minutes, Rockridge BART station in about 5 minutes, and San Francisco in about 20 minutes. Very close to Piedmont and downtown Oakland as well. About 1.5 hours from Point Reyes National Seashore, Santa Cruz, Napa Wine Country, Calistoga Spa resort area. Three hours to Tahoe, Monterey/Big Sur, Mendocino. About four hours to Yosemite, five to King's Canyon/Sequoia or Lassen.

À propos de nous

Professional couple (attorney and operations manager of cafes) with two sons ages 15 and 12. Our house is clean and comfortable. We will take good care of your house and will make sure our children do too. When we travel, we spend most of our time out and about but are looking for a clean, comfortable home base to eat, sleep and relax between excursions. A close relative will likely be here in the Bay Area when you stay in our place to help out with any problems that arise and to make sure everything's going smoothly.

Destination

Seeking simultaneous or nonsimultaneous exchanges for following periods of 2012:
2/15-2/21/12 (We're going to New Orleans)
4/2-4/8/12 (We're going to Kauai)
8/24-28/12 (We're going to New England, hopefully Cape Cod on 8/27-28)
Also interested in other proposals. We'll probably be taking another week off in summer 2012 and our plans for fall 2012 and all of 2013 are wide open.
