Maison

Our old-fashioned 3 ½ (one bedroom) with 2 balconies (one shared, one private) hosts a
television set (no cable), a DVD player, a computer, a washer and dryer, and a bike rack in the (shared) backyard. There is a window in every room, making the apartment sunny. Our neighbours are quiet but young.

Quartier

Located in the Plateau Mont-Royal, our apartment is close to several bus lines, subway stations and bike renting stands (Bixi), as well as three grocery stores, a few fruit and vegetable markets, bakeries, a butcher shop, a cheese shop, a drugstore, several parks and bars, all within 5 min. walk (most of which are located on the well-known and lively Mont-Royal street)

À propos de nous

We are a young couple taking a break from university to visit Vancouver. We love the outdoors so it seemed like a good choice. I am in software engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montréal whereas she is studying environmental science and sociology at McGill University. We are also artists : I play music (piano, guitar) and she is into visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpting). We're pretty easy going and like meeting new people.

Destination

We intend to visit Vancouver for a couple of months (3 to 6) when the Olympics finish. We don't need to be swapping for out entire stay though. Also, we are quite flexible with the dates of the exchange.
