Maison

Two-story spacious home with 4 bedrooms upstairs plus a sun room. Living room, dining room and kitchen on ground level. On sunny days most rooms get lots of great California sun. Small completely enclosed garden at back of house. Dead end alley next to the house where kids can play. Tenants in basement apartment below. Clothes washer and dryer in the house. No pets allowed. No Smoking. Wi-fi available. Comfortable home but not fancy.

Quartier

Inner Richmond is a great neighborhood in San Francisco. We are one block away from Golden Gate park and three blocks away from the newly renovated deYoung museum and CA Academy of Science. We are three blocks away from the new Chinatown on Clement Street and 6 blocks away from Haight-Ashbury. The Presidio national park is 6 blocks away. There is plenty of public transportation to go anywhere in the city very easily. The neighborhood is quiet but has a wealth of great restaurants (French, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Sushi, Thai, ...) It is a straight shot to ocean beach (45 minutes walk) but far enough not to be too bothered by the fog. Great bike rides all around the neighborhood.

À propos de nous

We are an easy-going Franco-American family with two kids attending the French-American International School. We are a HS math and science teacher and an art museum curator. We like to travel and we visit family in France often. We are looking for a house exchange with a family who wants a comfortable but simply-equipped home. We have lots of sports equipment and toys at the ready for an active family. We offer the use of our car as well as the use of the house. This is a great spot!

Destination

We are looking for a house to serve as a pied a terre for our family with members of our French family joining us. We are also looking for the use of a car. We probably would not stay in your house the whole time (probably 3 weeks at most). We would prefer swimming options near the house (swimming pool best, lake, beach, river,...)
