Maison

The Captain's Cabin occupies a prime site on Solent Breezes holiday park. With its own garden, it has the beauty of privacy, whilst at the same time enjoying the facilities of a shared heated swimming pool and boating facilities. The clubhouse provides a condusive social meeting place and free wireless internet facilities.

The cabin itself is a 42ft long, 14ft wide static caravan which has top-of the-range fittings. Microwave, two ovens, gas hob, washing machine. The main double bedroom has an ensuite. The second bedroom has two single beds. Two more people can be accommodated by using the sofa bed in the lounge area.

The cabin has mains gas, electricity and double glazing.

The lounge has a TV with freeview channels, from the dining area it is possible to look at on the Solent.

A terrace provides good outdoor dining facilities with uninterrupted sea views.

Quartier

Solent Breezes is located only 10 minutes from the M27 motorway, and yet it is has the feeling of being deep in the English countryside. Wildlife can be seen around, especially in the early morning - deer, foxes, badgers all live here. Birds muster together on the adjacent cornfield before starting their epic journeys south.

The cabin is only 20m from the Solent Way - a wonderful coastal path.

As well as swimming, the park also possesses tennis courts. Horse riding and sailing are also available nearby.

The location means that a car is essential, so there is one provided in the exchange.

We are a couple who enjoy travelling. We use this cabin as a base to entertain our grandchildren.

We spend most of the year in Ethiopia, but also have a base in Bournemouth as well as this holiday home.

Destination

Since we have other homes, non-simultaneous exchanges would be possible.

The cabin is not available for occupation during January and February

We would be particularly keen to visit the west coast of the US, especially in June/July

Since we have already visited getting on for 50 countries, we would be open to offers, including the out of the ordinary!
