Maison

A well designed, 2 story vacation condo, beautifully appointed with three comfortable bedrooms, a large living/dining room, and a "bar" type counter connecting to a fully equipped kitchen. The condo is prime real estate and placed only two very short blocks from the gondola at Aspen Mountain. Daily maid service is available. Enjoy our hot tub and swimming pool as well. The property is placed on a small park that is great for brief walks on the way into the town of Aspen. Aspen offers a wide variety of restaurants which include world renowned fine dining and family dining. You will find a wide variety of high end stores and small local stores for your shopping pleasure. There is a nice book store, library, recreation center, workout gyms, and the best of all, skiing. Aspen is best known for its four mountains with a wide variety of ski terrain and first class ski schools for children and adults. Summer time is great for activities like horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, and much more recreation for those who don't ski. The summer is famous for the Aspen Music Festival and the Aspen Institute where intellectuals meet.
Since this is our vacation home we are very flexible about trading dates. We also rent our condo therefore the closets and drawers are empty.

Quartier

A short (2 blocks)and quiet walk takes you into the wonderous town of Aspen, Colorado. You will see a beautiful view of all the great and magnificent mountains. A brief walk to all bakeries, stores, and restaurants. Aspen provides transportation to all other ski mountains. You can walk to all different recreation such as an ice skating rink. We keep a car there but hardly use it.

We are a family of four. We have two active children ages nine and twelve. We enjoy touring, exploring different cultures, days at the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, and skiing as a family. We are all very adventurous and enjoy all climates. Basically, we like to vacation to exotic places where we can do day trips. We prefer a warm climate for summer vacations but our vacation property is also available during winter and spring skiing. We have only traveled to Alaska, Costa Rica, Aruba and the Carribean. We are interested in exploring the rest of the world and we are willing to go any where that is fun for the children.

Destination

This can be a non-simultaneous exchange. Our dates must coordinate with children's school's vacation schedule.
