Maison

We'd like to swap homes, simultaneously or non-simultaneously. Charming and comfortable home with plenty of space (168 m²) to relax. Two-stories with large kitchen, den, living room and dining room. 300 channels of cable TV, DVD, unlimited internet access, printer, fax, comfortable beds, sewing room, washer/dryer, dishwasher, all kitchen appliances. Front porch, backyard, wonderful neighbors to help you if you need it. We also have big beautiful trees and live on a corner lot.

Perhaps you'd like to come for the SXSW Music/Film/Interactive festival in mid-March or the Austin City Limits Festival in early October.

Quartier

Our vibrant neighborhood is full of young professionals (mostly in their 30s and 40s) in a lovely and older section of Austin. Walking distance to great restaurants, coffee houses, bar, grocery, convenience store, 2 blocks from 2 different bus stops, and a five minute ride (2.5 miles/4 km) to downtown. We also have two bicycles you can use.

We're an active couple without children in our early forties. We're involved with the thriving performing arts scene in Austin. She is a choreographer and editor, he is a radio disk jockey and musician. Together we produce cabaret/vaudeville/dance shows. We have an amazing network of smart, funny, and lively friends that we can put you in touch with if you stay at our house.

Destination

We are traveling to Paris and Amsterdam. We're flexible with dates within the specific range (March 2 - 13, 2010). We're also open to non-simultaneous exchange if you want to visit Austin for the SXSW Interactive/Film/Music festival and Austin City Limits Festival.
