Maison

Lovely place! A 78 kvm apartment, 2 bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen with table and chairs for two, bathroom, a small hall and a balkony with table and five chairs and a view over the little garden. In the garden there is a barbecue, you can use! We share the garden with our neighbours. Our apartment is on the first floor, in the building there are five floors with two apartments on each. Our neighbours are all very nice young people and young families.

Quartier

Our Street is a small quiet side street to the big main road: Amagerbrogade, which followed 2,5 km leads to the center of Copenhagen with shopping and cultural places. With in five minutes you can find three buslines and the subway. It is very easy to use, and we will of course have some information ready when you arrive. In Copenhagen you come arround very easily on bikes, we have two you can borrow, and you can pay to rent some more.

In the winter you can go visit our local shoppingcenter (Amager Centret), or the biggest shoppingcenter of Scandinavia (Fields) which you will find ten minutes away using the subway. You can also go iceskating on Kongens Nytorv (4 minuts away by the subway) and enjoing all of Copenhagen: Restaurents, museums and theatres. (We will find informations for you, and if you are interested we can arrange friends to show you arround)

Summer activities: Close to where we live, there is a big and new opened beach area (Amager strandpark) And on the way to the city you will find the "Port Swim" it's a big public open-air swimmingpool, build in the canal. Another fun and very beatifull activity near by is Tivoli (an amusement park) You can also visit the Botanical Gardens, and all the other parks in the city, or go sightseeing by bus or boat in the lovely old canals. (We will find informations for you, and if you are interested we can arrange friends to show you arround)

We are two girls, Sara Lester, 20 and Cecilie Astrupgaard, 21. We recently moved to Copenhagen from a suburb 100 km from the capital. We graduated school this summer and now we both work in a kindergarden to save money for later studying. But eventhough we are saving, we still want to travel and this a a great opportunity to experience other amazing places than our wonderful Copenhagen.

Destination

-We would like to swap for weekends in other european cities, like Paris or London etc.
And we dream about going to New York
