Our home is located in q quiet friendly neighborhood just one house away from a 20 acre grass park with large pavilion, jogging/walking trail, BBQ facilities, soccer fields, basketball courts, winter tubing hills and children’s playground. In the summer the Utah Festival Opera, the Lyric Repertory Theater, the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and Wednesdays, swimming pool, recreation center with racquetball and tennis are all approximately two miles away. A couple more miles away you can step back in time to visit the American West Heritage Center with an authentic 1917 working dairy farm and Festival in late summer.

If you want adventure, spend your time hiking or snowshoeing up Dry Canyon (the mouth of the Canyon is 4 blocks away), along with a great mountain biking trail. Try canoeing in the Bear River (launch 5 miles). Choose between two golf courses (one of the top 10 in Utah and very reasonably priced), fly fishing in the Logan or Bear Rivers as well as trout fishing, visiting the nature center. Enjoy great mountain hiking trails -- hike the Crimson trail, climb to the wind caves or visit Tony’s Grove in Logan Canyon. Find exceptional bird watching at the Cutler Reservoir and other nearby locations. Enjoy the Aquatics center with the large swimming pool, water slides, and diving boards (3 miles/10 minutes).

Not too far away is skiing at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort (just 40 miles up Logan Canyon) or boating at Bear Lake (one hour away). For road bikers Cache Valley boasts more than a 100 mile loop of riding free of traffic lights and many other enjoyable rides through the country side. Just a few hours drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park.
