Detached modern family home in quiet, rural location, only 15 minutes drive from bustling tourist town of Dingle (An Daingean), Co. Kerry in the South West of Ireland. House consists of 5 bedrooms (2 ensuite), sitting room, utility room, kitchen / sunroom, with all modern conveniences. TV with Sky Plus multi-channels, DVD / Video player and WiFi Broadband. Baby equipment available and plenty of childrens' toys and games. Bicycles available for use, 1 adult and 3 childrens' bikes. 2 sets of Golf clubs, Golf course within 5 minutes drive.
Large enclosed private garden with patio overlooking some of Ireland's best known views of ocean, also includes childrens' swings and outdoor games, and vegetable garden. Friendly neighbours are close by to help with any enquiries.

Quartier

Rural, coastal location yet within reach of busy tourist town of Dingle, and only an hours drive from Killarney Town and Kerry Airport. Plenty of fantastic beaches, all within a 15 minute drive. House has exceptional views of the Blasket Islands, famous for it's cultural heritage. The area is very well known for it's rich local heritage, including the Irish Language, traditional Irish Music, archaeological sites. The area has an abundance of walks including The Dingle Way, which passes through Dunquin. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains within walking distance of the house. The fishing port of Dingle and surrounding area is famous for it's culinary fare, particularily seafood. There is also a pub within 5 minutes walking distance of the house. Being a tourist destination the location has numerous attractions that would appeal to all ages, including horse riding, surfing, kayaking, walking, hiking, boat trips, museums, sea acquarium, etc. More details on the area can be viewed at http://www.dingle-peninsula.ie





À propos de nous

We are Fionnan and Ruth and we have five children, 3 boys and 2 girls, aged between 1 and 12 years of age. Both of us are third level graduates and Fionnan works for the local Regional Government Agency and Ruth currently works at home. We enjoy travelling and have spent several summers in France and Spain. We have just concluded our second house exchange. We enjoy the outdoor life, gardening, walking, golf and also reading and travelling. We are Irish (Gaelic) speakers and have a small amount of French and German.

Destination

We are open to offers for Summer 2012, especially July. We would also consider a 2 month exchange for July and August.
