Vacation in a premiere resort community in central Arkansas! Newer home in Hot Springs Village, a gated community (http://www.hsvpoa.org/), located on the Isabella Golf course - one of 9 golf courses in HSV. Situated 45 miles west of Little Rock (closest airport), HSV offers championship golf, 9 lakes with boating, tennis, hiking trails, fitness center, and natatorium. Nearby are pristine lakes and Ouachita Mountains and 15 east of Hot Springs National Park - the first national park in the United States (http://www.nps.gov/hosp/index.htm), famous for mineral hot springs and spas.

Our southern home is very well equipped and comfortable. The spacious living/dining/kitchen and breakfast area opens onto a large outside deck. The guest bedroom, bath, and study are separated from the master suite for privacy. Car is available for swap.

Situated in a golf community, there is access to restaurants and wildlife.
Bicycles and kayacks are available. Arkansas is the "Natural State" and if you love outdoor activities, this is the place for you! This house is a great home base for travels around the U.S. as it is centrally located.

Quartier

Hot Springs Village, a gated community, is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. The people are very friendly yet you can easily find solitude and privacy. Activities abound and you can do everything, or just kick back and do nothing.

À propos de nous

My husband and I both are university professors. We have traveled widely and speak a smattering of languages (none of them terribly well but adequate). We relocated from Montana four years ago seeking a more temperate climate.

We are avid golfers, love to float the great Arkansas rivers in our sit-upon kayacks, and hike whenever we get the chance. As we both work, we have summers off and winter vacation.

We would like to spend 4-6 weeks in Scotland.

Destination

Our dates are flexible between mid-June to mid-August. We would like to stay in Scotland - an hour or two from St. Andrews by car or train. We are open to suggestions.
