Chic apartment in lovely Charlottenburg. Recently renovated and stylishly designed, this one bedroom with a sofabed in the sitting room sleeps up to 4 persons. Quartier

Charlottenburg is an upmarket area of Berlin and the apartment is within walking distance of a range of restaurants and activities. Situated a mere 1 block from the Canal boat on the Spree, this area is well positioned for tourism. Charlottenburg Palace (which also has dinner evenings and concerts) is only 1 block away, with several museums walking distance.

À propos de nous

I am a woman who has lived all over the world. Grew up in South Africa (see my home 24721) and, after living in Spain, France, Switzerland, UK, Scotland and central Africa, now live in the Netherlands with my niece whom I adopted and my partner who is a Groningener. We also adopted a cat and dog but do travel with either!

We travel extensively and are always interested in discovering new places. I speak English, Dutch, Catalan, Spanish, and French (and some Afrikaans). I am particularly fond of Catalunya, Spain and South Africa. I spent most of my working life in the field of education (M.Ed. degree) and now have ambitions to spend more time writing and painting. I hope to still travel to Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia one day. I would also to do more exchanges with people who live nearby for a (long) weekend away. We can do non-simultaneous exchanges as these houses are all 2nd homes, including this one in Berlin. All our exchange homes are professional rental homes so the houses are not cluttered with personal items and are cleaned (including linen and towels) after every stay. This does mean, however, that we do not always have availability and that peak season is usually booked.
