Cozy charming two bedrooms/one bath fully furnished guesthouse with full-sized kitchen, living room and beautiful terrace overlooking the lush Turrialba valley.

The house is located on a 30 acre (12 ha) organic farm/forest property 7 km (4 miles) from the town of Turrialba on the Caribbean shoulder of the Turrialba volcano. At 1100m (3300 ft) altitude, the yearly average temperature is a pleasant 21° C (70°F). The house has a fantastic view to the Turrialba Valley and the Central mountain range of Costa Rica with the highest peak of Central America in the distance
On the farm, beautiful hiking paths lead you along a river and a natural forest as well as through shaded coffee fields, tropical fruit trees, palms, a large variety of tasty bananas, citrus trees, pineapples, turmeric, gingers, wild raspberries, orchids, many medicinal and ornamental plants and through pastures for our grass-fed Jersey cows. Wildlife includes more than 100 bird species (weaver birds, Toucans, owls), armadillos, raccoons and others.
The house has chlorine-free drinking water from a crystalline spring close to the volcano’s summit.
There is easy transportation form the house to Turrialba from where comfortable and regualr busses take you to San Jose and connect to all Costa Rica. Also you can take private spanish classes at home or in town for a very reasonable price.

We are a family of four. My husband is a agro ecology professeur and I raise two beautiful children in the love of nature.

We speak English, French, Spanish and German

Destination

Exchange does not have to be simultaneous. It is our guest house. We would like a house or apartment south of Paris if possible.
