Pettigo is a small friendly village in Co Donegal. The locals are very friendly. the house we have for exchange is set in the centre of the village and there are local shops, bars and an excellent restaurant all at your front door so you can enjoy a meal and a few drinks by the open fires in the evening. you really woulnt have to leave the village as everything is near by but if you wanted to travel outside the town there are buses daily that pass through the village. The village is a border town so visitors can easily explore Co Fermanagh and Co Tyrone as well as Co Donegal.
