Maison

Our charming and renovated 40m2 Parisian flat is very easy to reach as well as many major sights from the apartment as it's handily situated on the metro line 3 (the station is just next to the house).

The apartment has a luminous living room with a view to the trees of Père Lachaise cemetery and park. Small but cosy bedroom is situated at the opposite end of the apartment, separated by a long corridor that gives also access you have a small kitchen and bathroom (WC + shower).

We're 2 living in here, but the apartment can sleep 4 as we have a comfortable and very easy-to-use sofabed for 2 in the living room.

The appartment is fully équipped: TV, DVD, hi-fi, kitchen (oven, induction plates, washing machine), wifi internet (if necessary, an old laptop can be found too :-))).

Quartier

Our apartment is situated few steps away from the Gambetta metro station (on the line 3) and the main entrance of the famous Père Lachaise cemetery, where amongst other notables are buried Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, and Edith Piaf.

The neighbourhood has conserved its typical Parisian charm and cahcet with its street cafés, a Sunday morning market and the local "shopping-street", where you can buy all necesary groceries, bakeries etc., all this without masses of tourists.

The line 3 of the subway serves the city from East to West - the Republique square and Marais' district are 8 minutes away and Opéra and the famous department stores district are 15 minutes away. The line 3 has many convenient connections with other lines and therefore all other major sights as Notre-Dame, Montmartre and Eiffel tower can be reached easily with one change.

À propos de nous

We're a couple of 2 guys in their late 20s/early 30s. I'm doing marketing and my partner is working for an NGO. We like travelling, sports (swimming and rowing), going to cinema, exhibitions and opera - a typical young urban working couple with no children.... We're clean and organised and now a big part of our energy goes on making our apartment a really cosy place to live in.
While looking for a one we fell on this one really by chance as our agent didn't like it and thought we wouldn't be interested neither, but we were charmed by its untypical disposal of rooms, big windows and a nice view - only trees and no other buildings, which is quite rare in Paris.
