If you love cool country quiet, but crave access to the hippest culture in this country, this is the residence for you. Lying in my tree laden yard, I forget that my agents' offices are a bike ride away ( 3 bikes provided), the post office, cleaners, pharmacy, ethnic and upscale restaurants, golf course, tennis courts, hilly walking areas. Every major store and the latest studio and independent films are featured in 2 nearby malls with cineplexes which are a fifteen minute walk in either direction.

I'm a single actress/humor columnist, purchased this my first home in '91 with residuals, after living in apartments in NYC and LA for years. I put my heart into fixing up and maintaining my
Green Gate Manor, and folks feel it the minute they come into the cathedral ceilinged parlor
and see the dappled light filtering in through the craft windows and varied trees that embrace the structure. I have lemon, lime and orange trees and an ample herb garden supplying fresh organic flavors for your cooking in the warmer seasons.

I love entertaining in the yard with my propane barbecue and having dinner parties in the house, often playing word games in the parlor with my literati pals.

Destination

Would ideally like to trade for a comparable home in a safe Manhattan neighborhood for the month of June to be near my aging mother and business opportunities. Later, I'd like to trade for a home in York, England.
