Maison

It's a 2-bedroom appatment of 65m2. The first bedroom has a 2-person bed, and the second, which we use as a home studio, has a sofa bed of 2 places as well. The large living room has a big couch, which turns into another comfortable bed. TV, computer, high-speed internet, DVD, Wii...
The kitchen is large enough for 4 people to comfortably eat. Microwave oven, induction to cook, washing machine and dryer, fridge and freezer.
The bathroom is separated from the toilets, and has a bathtub.
The appartment is located on the first floor, with an elevator. The building has a closed garden behind where kids could play.

Quartier

Our appartment is located in Paris, near the garden of Buttes Chaumont. The neighborhood is very calm, the subway and the shops are 2 minutes away. The street where the building is located is calm and safe, even at night.
The 11th line of the parisian subway is two minutes away and can take you to the very center of Paris (Châtelet, Rivoli, the Louvre) in 20 minutes from the door step. Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur are not far away as well.
Going to Disneyland is pretty simple from our house by subway and suburb trains : less than an hour.

À propos de nous

We are a young couple, and we've been living in Paris for several years? We love our city and our brand new appartment, which we live in since a little less than a year. I am Elsa, student in voice at the Music Conservatory of Paris, and singer in the Choeur de l'Orchestre de Paris. My friend is Olivier, part-time teacher in sound techniques, and a sound ingeneer in a parisian concert hall for soul and world music. We're both very found of music, movies, museums, every culture...!
We are tidy, respectful, non-smokers. We will respect your home and environment, and we hope you would as well with ours.
It's the first time we exchange our own home, so we're very excited !
We both speak english and french, of course.

Destination

We would like to go to New-York this fall to visit the city. Our dates are pretty flexible for november, but we need to know rapidly to take plane reservations, etc... We can even leave for the first week of december, if it suits you better. We would also like to come to New-York somewhere between February and March 2010, if you're more interested !
