Maison

Our house is fully furnished located in a large garden of about 1 1/2 acre with lots of trees, flowers plus a large lawn which is taken care by a landscape contractor. Plenty of privacy with one part bordering a small river. All modern facilities including TV, WI-FI, etc. The basement is also furnished and is a walk-out into the rear garden. The house is about 10 minutes from shopping areas and about 1 hour from midtown Manhattan. Ideally located for a relaxing holiday and excursions into beautiful New England and Boston is less than 3 hour's drive. We have two cars.

Quartier

Our neighborhood is all single houses. There is a large public park for walking within 5 minutes from our house. Shopping is about 10 minutes away by car. Very frequent commuter train services to New York (Manhattan) from nearby stations. Many attractions in Connecticut including Yale University and parks all generally within one hour's drive. Our neighbors are extremely friendly and always helpful. Many public parks and beaches all within easy reach. There are also many public golf courses within 5-20 minutes away.

We have lived here for 30 years. Our children grew up here and went to local schools. I work for a company in Malaysia as a trading specialist and my wife is a floral designer. I am Danish and my wife is from Hong Kong. Our interests are traveling, books/literature, art, golf, gardening, wine and history. We communicate in English, Danish and Chinese.

Destination

Prefer Copenhagen and immediate surroundings but can also consider areas within easy reach of Copenhagen Prefer apartment with parking facilities and also prefer to exchange cars as well. A summerhouse in northern part of Sjaelland may also be of interest. Minimum 3 bedrooms in order to accomodate 6 adults (ourselves, our two daughters and
their husbands)
