Maison

Located on an 1 1/4 acres, this single family dwelling has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a well furnished eat-in kitchen with all the conveniences. The cozy living room contains a fireplace, satellite TV, DVD, and flat screen TV. The house has electric heat and cooking. An evaporative cooling system not only cools, but adds a bit of moisture to our dry air. Enjoy the beautiful Arizona sky on our backyard deck with gas barbeque island. Visitors must agree to feed the goldfish and koi twice a day.

Quartier

We are located approximately 12 miles from Sierra Vista, AZ on a single lane, paved country road. There is ranch land across from the house, where cows often graze. Nearby sites include the historic mining town of Bisbee, Fort Huachcua, and Tombstone. Coronado National Monument is minutes away. There are sweeping vistas of mountain ranges all around us, with clean air and a blue sky that goes on forever. The clear skies and minimal light pollution make it a great place for nite time star gazing! A short drive up the nearby Huachuca Mountains offers hiking and an imcomparable view of the valley. Situated close to the Mexican border, we are in south central Arizona approximately a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from Tucson, AZ.

À propos de nous

My husband and I are both retired military. He currently works as a military contractor at nearby Fort Huachuca, and I have a small home-based stained glass business. My husband golfs, rides his motorcycle and enjoys working on house projects. I enjoy digital scrapbooking, and thinking up house projects :). We speak English, but because we are so close to Mexico, many people in our area are also fluent in Spanish.

Destination

This is our family home and must be a simultaneous exhchange. We are particularily interested in exploring Scotland. We prefer not to be in a large city.
