Come and stay at Hong Kong's most exclusive beachside community in a beautiful airy apartment...

Our home is a spacious 3 bedroom apartment, furnished with beautiful Oriental antique pieces. There are 2 large bedrooms: the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the other is our son's nursery. In addition, there is also a smaller single bedroom, ideal for a child and furnished with a single bed. We have 2 new and well designed bathrooms and a modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room and dining room is light and roomy.

Our home is 10 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the Plaza, restaurants and ferry terminal. There is also a local bus service.


Quartier

Discovery Bay is a safe and family friendly community boasting an array of fine restaurants, bars and cafes set alongside the waterfront and beach. It has numerous playgrounds, swimming pools, tennis courts and a fantastic hill side golf course. It is surrounded by beautiful hills and forests and hiking trails.

At the plaza which is 15 minutes walk, you will find everything you will need to make your stay as easy as possible - an international supermarket, chemist, video store, bank and doctors.

Discovery Bay is on Lantau Island - which is home to Disney Land and also the International airport (20 minutes by bus). To connect onto Hong Kong Central Island, there is a regular ferry service, which takes 25 minutes and runs day and night. Alternatively, you can catch the MTR train from the local train station (15 minutes by bus to Sunny Bay) which then takes you down through Kowloon and onto Hong Kong Central.

Discovery Bay is a fantastic location for those who want to enjoy all the sights and sounds of vibrant Hong Kong, but return home to a peaceful and stunning beach side location. It is especially great for a family, who can relax and enjoy the playgrounds, beaches, swimming pools and local eateries and also see Hong Kong's famous sights without being too exhausted!

À propos de nous

We are Sarah, John, Oisin and Arlo - a lovely family of 2 youngish adults and 2 young boys. I am a teacher and my husband works for Bloomberg in IT.

We are from England & Ireland and have lived in Hong Kong for 2 1/2 years. We have traveled extensively around the world and have done four house swaps previously.

We are looking for an exchange during July 2011. Ideally for three or four weeks.

Destination

We are very open to offers on dates and locations, but would ideally like a destination with a direct flight from Hong Kong. A longer stay during the school holidays is preferred.
As we have 2 young children, a beach location is prefered but somewhere within driving distance of one is fine also.
