Maison

An end unit townhome which backs onto a cedar treed area and is two minutes from the trail to the River is perfectly peaceful and safe! There's a little playground for kids two minutes away on the property, there are no roads running through either the front or back, and is like a little country paradise yet 10 minute walk to the city center. There is a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, TV and DVD player and a heavenly king size bed, plus another two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed the other single bunks. There is a fully finished basement with laundry room, surround sound pc, pull out couch, bar fridge and piano.
If you are here in summer there's a shared outdoor pool, which is never too busy as there's not many kids around. If you're here in winter, then there's a couple of pictures of what the backyard looks like covered in freshly fallen snow.
Kitchen is fully equipped with basic appliances, however no microwave. Selling feature of a balcony off the second floor kitchen for birdwatching, morning coffee or bbqs. There's a gas fireplace in the living room as well as central heating, of course.

Quartier

Neighborhood is friendly and mainly 'mature' people, so it is very quiet, the back yard is surrounded by trees, with no roads anywhere. Bus stop at end of street is about 5 minute walk, cornershop is 5 minutes walk away. walk to 'unique' stores downtown in 15 minutes or the not so unique mall. Hospital about 10 minute drive.
Toronto downtown is about a little over one hour if the traffic is good, or 90 minutes otherwise. Other major cities nearby include Kitchener, London, Hamilton. However for a scenic drive to quaint towns such as Elora or Fergus, it's a 20 minute drive.

A musician by nature, I play in the local symphony orchestra while staying home with my two daughters ages 5 and 7. My husband is learining the banjo so you are welcome to try it out while here!! He speaks fluent French, we are both originally from Scotland but have lived in France for a few years also. My parents live 10 minutes away so could be an emergency contact if needed.

Destination

Preferably Glasgow or Edinburgh, late fall to early 2010. Would likely have to be simultaneous as we are here throughout the year.
