Maison

Our home is a new contemporary custom built 3,100 square foot house in a private community. It is well suited for families. Easy living. The house has a luxurious master bedroom and bathroom suite, gourmet kitchen and living area that overlooks the golf course and two to three additional bedroom/sleeping areas.

We have a small two bedroom, one bathroom 900 square foot country cabin in San Diego, California that can be included in the swap. The house is on the side of a hill with a wonderful view of the valley below. The house can sleep two adults in the master bedroom and two children in the second bedroom. The cabin has a small but very functional kitchen and bathroom with shower.

Quartier

The house is in a small secluded private neighborhood in the middle of a golf course. Access to thr metropolitan area and Arizona is best done by car. The neighborhood has very good access to regional roads that give quick access to downtown Phoenix, Glendale and Scottsdale. For hikers and outdoor lovers, the house is located close to major regional parks with great hiking trails. The area has several horseback riding organizations within minutes. The Grand Canyon is three hours by car. Sedona is one and one half hours by car. San Diego and the Pacific Ocean are five hous by car.

The cabin is located in Julian, California. Julian is a late 19th and early 20th century frontier mining town that has now been transformed into a cute southern California weekend getaway. Bounded by beautiful mountains, rolling hills and pastoral valleys, Julian and the Cuyamaca regional preserve is a beautiful place from which to access the San Diego coast and sites.

Leslie and I are mid age professionals with two grown children in college. Leslie owns a small communications company in San Diego and John is a a former architect who is currently devloping a new city center for an Arizona municipality.
