3 bedrm, 3 bathrm recently reno'd townhouse in Squamish, BC. Less than 2 km from Quest University & across the street from a beautiful golf course. House is fully furnished and kid friendly, with toys and kids furniture available if desired.

Quartier

Squamish is midway between Whistler (45 minutes north) & Vancouver (45 minutes south) which are the sites of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Stay in the heart of it all for free, then enjoy North America's best skiing in Whistler or many of the other great outdoor activities available in Squamish for the remainder of the year! Squamish is a renowned destination for kite boarding, rock climbing and mountain biking. There are also 2 fantastic golf courses in town (one less than 200 metres from our doorstep) and lots of great fresh water swimming lakes and numerous hiking trails - the list is endless.

We are a couple in our late 30's with 2 young boys (aged 5 and 1 1/2). Jason is a carpenter, originally from Australia and Sarah is a bookkeeper. We are looking to relocate to Australia in the next couple of years to be closer to Jason's family but would like to do a 'trial run' for a year before selling our house in Canada. We are therefore looking to exchange for 12 months in the Byron Bay/Ballina area.
We exchanged houses this past year (Dec'08-Jan'09) with a couple from Suffolk Park (Byron Bay) and had a great experience - we are eager to do it again! We have a 2003 Ford station wagon that would be available to exchange as well.

Destination

Our dates are extremely flexible - we would just like to be in Oz before XMas 2009 if possible. If not, we would also consider a start date in Jan.2010 (but with enough time to get our 5 year-old son started in kindy at the beginning of the year). The exchange does not have to be one full year - but must be more than 6 months so that we can get a feel for living there. We would also be open to exchanges of longer than 12 months. Make a suggestion!
