Maison

Very large 5 bedroom house, four double bedrooms, one as study. Large sitting room, seperate large dinning room and seperate kitchen.Two bathrooms, Small garden to front and back. Large flat screens and music systems both upstairs and down with wireless access also. Lots of beautiful big windows and two sets of patio doors to back garden from kitchen and dinning room make the house full of light.
There is a garage and parking for two cars. My BMW Z4 is availble also for exchange.
Some very expensive art, crystal lights and all furniture, beds etc in house are not even 1 yr old. Decoration is light, wood floor down stairs new carpets upstairs.

The house is situated in a quiet area with only another 7 house to the street. The house faces a private estate grounds of gardens and orchards, with open grass to the back with some distant trees. The famous Derwent Walk and Derwent River are a few minutes walk from the house with glorious veiws etc. Durham City, Castle, Cathederal is only a 20 min drive. Newcastle 30 mins. Lake District, Moors, Holy Island and Northumberland at your door step. The more adventourous could even do Scotland in 1hr 30 mins

Quartier

Peaceful and neighbours are amazing. Very friendly and careing yet dont bother you or in your face so to speak.
I love the fact that Im in a beautiful village with history of sword makers, Roman buildings and amazing walks yet central for the big cities such as Durham, Newcastle, Carlise, Berwick upon Tweed etc. Public transport also takes you to all locations. 2omins for Durhamd as well as the history you have really great restaurants, wine bars and clubs ...fab night life here or on Newcastle. Newcatle which is only 30mins away has so much to offer for all ages to enjoy and I have made a booklet of everything available in all the surrounding towns etc.
Hexham and Corbridge the famous Roman wall again all 15/20 mins away.

I am a solicitor who works for a global company and I am 34. I am currently single having had two long relationships of 9 yrs and 3 yrs. I love travelling and have visited many cities in Europe and love the States.
I work very hard and believe in needing to travel to rest the soul, learn about different cultures and new experiences and people.
I love art, walking and generally exploring.......shopping is my downside and love to shop, the clothes shops where I live are fantastic and I will always leave time aside on my hols to vistit the shops.
I am a honest and very down to earth person to would like to have someone enjoy my home as I do and treat any I stayed in with equal respect.

Destination

I love LA and try to go every year for Halloween, plus the USA in general. I have travelled around Europe, but open to all destinations.

I am lucky and can take leave at short notice normally, so I am very flexible on dates. I also work in the South of England and Work pays for a house there; so I'm only home 1-2 weeks a month, therefore house swap could even be at different times if necessary.
