Maison

Fabulous views over Lake Taupo. No stress/fuss accomodation for families.

All fittings are tidy and adequate with a well appointed kitchen, laundry and bathroom. All wet areas have vinyl floor coverings but all other areas are uncovered although there are some floor mats - easier to clean when the kids bring back the sand from the lake shore!

Three separate bedrooms - 1 with queen size bed, 1 with queen bed and low single bed for small child, and a bunk/single bed room which sleeps 5+.
All bedding is supplied ie sheets, pillowslips, duvets and covers.

Towels and tea towels are NOT supplied.

Bathroom has a spa bath - great to relax after skiing.

Kitchen is well appointed with Jennair grill, cooking hobs, fan forced oven, microwave etc. Gas heater in lounge area.

Decks to enjoy the sun and views. Relax, enjoy the views across the lake and listen to the birds.

Set amongst native bush - hear the Tuis, Bellbirds, Fantails and watch the Wood Pigeons.

Stroll to the lake - 2 min walk. Great safe swimming. Kayak and lifejackets supplied.

Lots of bush walks. Pleasant drive - 40 mins to Taupo, 45 mins to skiing, 10 mins to Hot pools at Tokaanu.

Set on bush clad hill (access steps to house and house is on 3 levels) - not suitable for elderly, physically disabled or very small children.

Car could be made available for a swap arrangement.

Great bush walks around a quiet lakeside settlement. Fabulous views of the lake, safe swimming, great bird life and a quiet and restful environment.

We are a family of four (mum, dad, 16 year old daughter and 14 year old son). We live on a small lifestyle block near the city of Palmerston North. The house we are offering for exchange is our holiday house at Taupo.
We enjoy seeing new places and see "home exchange" as a way of doing this.

Destination

We are really quite flexible regarding dates for an exchange but it must be around our school holidays which tend to be December/January, April, July and September.

We can do a non-simlutaneous exchange as this is our holiday house. We could, if it suited all concerned, offer our home in Palmerston North also if you were interested in a two centre exchange.
