Maison

Our home is a cosy place 100 metres away from beach.
It is an 1 floor attached house with two bedrooms (one of them is a mezzanine) , one bathroom, kitchen and living room with fireplace and a small backyard terrrace.
The house has 1 double bed and 3 single beds.
There is also a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, TV, broadband WiFi,...
Of course, we also have a great deal of "beach stuff" our guests can use: sun shade, beach chairs, beach paddle ball and other games, etc. :)

Quartier

Beach (and seafront all along the bay) is 100 metres away aprox (330 feet). Our house is situated in Palamós, a lovely village of northern Costa Brava (nothing to do with Lloret de Mar, in case you know it). Located in a quiet area close to the village centre where you can find supermarkets, cinemas, shops, restaurants, etc.
It is within a walking distance to the bus station which joins Palamós with Barcelona (120 km), Girona (50 km) and other Costa Brava and Empordà villages (Palafrugell, Platja d'Aro, etc.). Also, the bus goes to Caldes de Malavella train station (line to Barcelona, Girona and Figueres).
If you like nature, there are walking and bycicle routes all along the shore.

À propos de nous

We are a non-smoker couple in our early thirties who has travelled a lot and enjoys going to new places and meeting new cultures. Joan is a journalist/photographer and I (Cristina) am an English and Spanish teacher.
We are responsible and we take house-exchange experiences very seriously, so we would take good care of your house. We have already had two great home exchange experiences, in Berlin and Oslo.
We are looking forward to answer to any destination proposal.
We speak Spanish, English and French (besides Catalan and Galician, of course, our mother tongues).

Destination

Our next holidays are on the first week of April but we are open to exhange offer in Christmas and long weekends.
We would like to visit New York in 2012 summer.
