Maison

it's a big family home, typical for the area with red bricks. Three floors -large kitchen, dining room, lounge, veranda, 5 bedrooms. Our home and our garden are child friendly.

Quartier

Quiet district (Saint Pierre) near the center of Amiens (15 mn walk) with small shops and the largest park of the town. Amiens is a nice town with its famous cathedral. It's easy to go from there to Paris or Lille (1h15 by train) or to go to the coast, particulary the beautiful "Baie de Somme" (1h by car). There is a cycle path and walkways along the water of the Somme near our home. We have bicycle for all our family you can use !
We can also discuss the use of our Peugeot 806 (8 places).

À propos de nous

We have 5 children between 11 and 2 years old. Our daughter will study in Kilgraston (Scotland) during the school year 2009-2010 and we want to have the opportunity to rejoin her for half term and discover Scotland.
My husband is professor of University and I am a judge.
We like ride, architecture (especially my husband).

Destination

It's not a problem for us if the house swapping is not simultaneous. We leave frequently our house during the school holiday and can let the place during this time.
We would like to go to Scotland in the area of Edinburg for one week during the All saint's holiday (end of october and beginning of november). If not possible during others holidays of the school year 2009-2010.
