Maison

We would like to swap homes, simultaneously or not simultaneously. We are open to any proposition of destination. Our 150 square meters appartment is in the very center of Paris, located in the historical neighborhood of Le Marais. This unique appartment will ravish you. We have 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), 2 bathrooms and a shower room, 1 studyroom with high speed internet and a baby bed if necessary, 1 big living room with a balcony and cable TV, 1 very nice dining room, 1 full equiped modern kitchen with washing machine, nespresso, etc. This appartment designed by an architect is incredibly confortable, quiet, with a lot of light. It is located in a nice old buildind with elevator. With a lot of charm and all the modern comfort, this appartment will make your stay in Paris just unforgettable.

Quartier

Ideally located, the appartment is in the very center of Paris, where you can find everything. It's 5 min by foot from the Picasso museum and the place de la République, 10 min from the place des vosges and the Pompidou center (modern art museum of Paris), 15 min from the place de la Bastille and the place de l'hôtel de ville (Paris cityhall), 20 min from Notre-dame (Paris cathedral) and 30 min from the Louvre (main museum of Paris). Off course all shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, etc. that you can imagine are just two minuts by foot from the appartment. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as a typical french market. The nearest metro station is Filles du calvaire or Republique.

À propos de nous

We are a married couple, both 57 years old. I'm a retired judge and my husband is a lawyer. We have 3 grown-up children who don't live with us anymore but who have neighbour appartments. We are both no smoking people. Very responsible, respectfull and reliable, we've already exchanged homes before and it has always been a great experience. We love travelling, discovering new places and meeting new people. We both speak english and French (but I also speak a bit of italian and portuguese). Since we also have a country house near Paris, we can manage to let you our appartment also for a non simultaneous swap.

Destination

We are open to exchange anywhere anytime if your offer seems tempting, so we're open to any proposition. We can manage non simultaneous swaps if necessary. But for us the easiest times to travel are :
- From December the 20th to January the 5th
- One or two week in February
- One or two weeks in April
- From May the 1st to May the 8th
- In July and August
